About the Recipe

Ingredients
5 tbs oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Plain greek yogurt
Milk
2 fruits of choice (eg. berries, banana, peach)
Nuts of choice (or granola)
1 serving size of vanilla protein powder
Preparation
Step 1
In a separate bowl, mix your oats, chia seeds, plain greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, and milk. The liquid should at least be at level with the oats and chia seeds when finished mixing. This is to ensure that the chia seeds absorb enough water in order to form their gelatinous gel that will coat your intestines and improve digestion.
Step 2
Scoop half of the mixture into your parfait bowl.
Step 3
Cut your fruit if needed and place a layer on top of the mixture. Then, layer the rest of the mixture on top.
Step 4
Add your second fruit of choice on top. Then, sprinkle a handful of nuts/granola on top for a satisfying crunch.
