About the Recipe

Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
3 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, grated (optional)
1 tablespoon cornstarch (for coating)
1 tablespoon water (to mix with cornstarch, optional for thickening sauce)
Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Green onions, sliced (optional garnish)
Preparation
Step 1
Cut 1 lb of chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Coat lightly with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
Step 2
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger.
Step 4
Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Stir well to coat and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. If you want it thicker, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and add it in.
Step 5
Top with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
